How We Manage Your Traffic: Load Balancing Vs Bonding

Edited

We carefully manage your internet traffic to ensure everything runs smoothly. Here's an overview of how we handle your connection and what to do if you need help with specific applications.

General Traffic: Load-Balanced for Efficiency

Most of your user traffic—like browsing, streaming, and general downloads—is sent out directly over load-balanced 5G connections. This allows us to maximise available cellular resources, delivering efficient and fast internet service.

Sensitive Traffic: Routed Over Bonded Circuits

Some applications require a more stable, consistent connection, such as:

  • Calls and VoIP (on standard ports)

  • Remote Desktop

  • Standard VPNs

For these, we use Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) to detect and prioritise sensitive traffic, routing it over your dedicated bonded circuit for maximum stability and performance.

What About Non-Standard Applications?

Applications like online banking platforms, non-standard VoIP or VPN ports, and other niche services are not included by default in our traffic steering rules. However, we’re happy to help if these are critical for your needs.

Here’s how you can request support:

  1. Reach Out: Contact our support team and let us know which specific applications or services require stable connectivity.

  2. Custom Rules: We’ll create custom traffic rules for your system to ensure these applications are routed correctly and perform seamlessly.
